We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. Ever.
You Own Your Data
Export or delete everything you've stored with ReNote AI at any time, instantly.
Account Information. Name, email, and password hash — required for account creation and security.
Product Data. Depending on the products you use, we process handwritten notes, voice recordings and transcripts, visual captures, and meeting transcriptions — used solely to deliver the service to you.
Usage Analytics. We collect anonymized, aggregated usage data (such as feature interaction rates) to improve our products.
Website Cookies. On renote.ai, analytics and marketing cookies run only with your consent where the law requires it, and can be switched off anywhere from the footer. Every cookie is listed in our Cookie Policy.
Service Delivery. Your data enables us to provide the service, with AI processing that returns organized, searchable intelligence.
No Advertising. We do not use your notes, recordings or other product data to serve advertisements. ReNote AI is a subscription-based service. Our website may, with your consent, use marketing cookies to measure our own campaigns; see the Cookie Policy.
Product Improvement. With your consent, anonymized samples may be used to improve our AI models. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Encryption. All data is encrypted using AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit.
Server Locations. Data resides in ISO 27001-certified centers in the EU and US. You can select your preferred region.
Retention. Data persists while your account is active. Upon deletion, data is permanently purged within 30 days.
Access & Portability. You can request a full export of all your data at any time via account settings. Exports are delivered in open formats (JSON, PDF, TXT).
Deletion. You may delete individual records or your entire account. Deletion is immediate in your view and permanent within 30 days.
GDPR & CCPA. EU and California residents have additional rights, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
India (DPDP Act). If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you rights to access, correct and erase your data, to withdraw consent, to nominate someone to act for you and to have a grievance heard. How to exercise them, and who our Grievance Officer is, is set out in our DPDP Notice.
Infrastructure Partners. Cloud providers operate under strict data processing agreements. Your content data isn't shared beyond operational necessity.
No Data Brokers. ReNote AI does not sell or share personal data with data brokers.
Analytics & Advertising Partners. On the website, and only with your consent where the law requires it, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity measure how pages are used, and Meta, Google Ads and Microsoft Ads tags measure our own campaigns. None of them receive your notes, recordings or other product data. The cookies each one sets are listed in the Cookie Policy.
Privacy Contact. Our Data Protection Officer responds to inquiries at privacy@renote.ai within 72 hours.
Policy Changes. Material changes receive email and in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect.
